ESP

Extrasensory perception (ESP) involves reception of information not gained through the recognized senses and not inferred from experience.   This method of communication influenced me to produce a work that would require my brain to serve as an interface controller. By using an Interactive Brainwave Visual Analyzer, I can visualize by brain wave in real time 3 D mapping. I can also control media such as QuickTime Movie, sampling sound, MIDI sound, 3-D sound position and sound effects. I can send messages in real time to other machines as well, such as a lighting system, laser system, animation system, and MAX software.

Biofeedback medical technology, such as the EEG, body temperature variations, heart rate, and galvanic responses, are used to analyze my emotions. These signals produced the music changes so that the consequent sound environment simultaneously mirrors and distorts the viewer's emotional state.

MAX software and David Rokeby’s Very Nervous System was also processing music data.
